  1. I have been expecting this for a while as I believe he has been overlooked with his ability 2nd to know one should be said you will see like me the younger drivers hitting the news aka Mallory I feel have had preferential treatment along the way making it easier for him to get back to back titles, Ogier for his etc titles which makes it easier for them to win the WRC has Elfyn’s car been overlooked failing him when other get a clean run. Mechanics not up to the position and not forgetting the hype in the media Elfyn a quiet reserved guy no fuss keeping him out of the lime light unlike the flamboyant Colin McRae never out of it so he goes unnoticed . What I have said before he has to speak up challenge his immediate team double check his own car and his teams ability from the lowest to the highest member ensuring every last one is doing their job 110% on his journey to winning that allusive 1st WRC title. He himself needs to show he can do it when it really matters calm those nerves when for instance he had Ogier up his tail pipe back in 22 to win the title he had to finish in front of Ogier but made the mistake Ogier was pushing him to make crashing allowing him to win the title on the last stage.
If he’s going to leave the team he should move away from The WRC and go into say saloon car worlds as just moving to another team would be a backwards move especially Msport a defo no no My honest opinion is stick it out with Toyota fight for his right to be the Champ if one has this he should insist on an equal level playing field. If only we had it here that could change matters for him as the support Elfyn has in the Uk would help drive him on
With the masses who would turn out just to drive him on as did everyone when Colin McRae was racing as did the very popular Hereford Rally Driver Andy Burton in his self build Peugeot 306 Cossie everybody wanted to see him race a genius who never got a WRC offer. 🤷🏻‍♂️ he just needs to take the bull by the horns and be selfish fuc team orders and helping the team as he did again in Japan winning the manufacturers for Toyota most single handily for being 2/3 and his constancy think of himself and Scott bully the other drivers as tanks and Ogier do winning is winning whether it’s an inch or a mile put himself above the rest let them know who is the boss in the coming season . It must be this year or it never will be. I don’t think another driver has been as close for the last 5/6 years and not won it other than Elfyn . Nick Hopkins.
