Charles Leclerc Believes Ferrari Can Win Las Vegas GP

Charles Leclerc is optimistic about Ferrari’s chances of victory at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, as the team continues its battle against McLaren for the Constructors’ Championship. Speaking at the premiere of Gladiator II in London, Leclerc shared his insights on Ferrari’s prospects and the challenges ahead.

Currently trailing McLaren by 36 points with three races remaining in Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi, Ferrari is striving to reclaim a Constructors’ Championship title, a feat they have not achieved since 2008. Reflecting on last year’s inaugural Las Vegas GP, Leclerc recalled finishing second behind Max Verstappen, while teammate Carlos Sainz endured a difficult race after a loose drain cover caused an engine change and a 10-place grid penalty.

In an interview with Sky Sports News, Leclerc explained: “On paper, this is a track where we should perform well. However, the cold weather will make it challenging to get the tires into the optimal range. Still, with our improved tire management, I believe we have a strong chance to win.”

Meanwhile, Sainz emphasized the importance of teamwork and determination in Ferrari’s push for the Constructors’ title. The drivers are aware of the high stakes and are eager to showcase Ferrari’s potential at this critical point in the season.

The Las Vegas GP, scheduled from November 22 to 24, will also serve as a potential milestone for Max Verstappen, who could clinch another championship title. Fans can watch the action live on Sky Sports F1 or stream it via a NOW Sports Month Membership.

Off the track, Leclerc and Sainz made a glamorous appearance at the London premiere of Gladiator II, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2000 epic film. Both drivers wore custom-made tuxedos and expressed their excitement about the movie.

Leclerc humorously admitted: “I’ll be honest; I hadn’t watched the original Gladiator until five days ago!”

Sainz, on the other hand, praised the original film as a masterpiece: “I’ve loved Gladiator since I was a kid. It’s such a powerful movie, and I’m eager to see what happens in the sequel.”

With just a few weeks left in the season, the tension is palpable. Ferrari is determined to challenge McLaren for the Constructors’ title while also aiming for individual race wins. Will Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz secure a victory in Las Vegas and bring glory back to Ferrari? The answers will unfold as Formula 1 heads into its thrilling final stretch.
