Max Verstappen’s Latest Luxury Upgrade: A $50M Private Jet

Max Verstappen, the highest-paid driver in Formula 1, has reportedly added another luxury asset to his collection—a brand-new private jet worth $50 million. This comes shortly after his acquisition of a stunning Mangusta superyacht, reinforcing his status as one of the sport’s most lavish spenders.
Verstappen’s New Falcon 8X Jet
The reigning F1 champion is said to have purchased a 2022 Dassault Falcon 8X, a high-performance, long-range private jet. According to Dassault Aviation, this aircraft boasts a 6,450 nautical mile range and is equipped with a Digital Flight Control System derived from the Rafale fighter jet.
True to Verstappen’s signature style, the plane has been customized in matte black and orange—the same theme as his previous Dassault Falcon 900EX. Additionally, the aircraft is expected to feature a personalized registration code incorporating ‘UTL’—standing for “Unleash The Lion,” a phrase synonymous with the Dutch superstar.
A Superyacht to Match
This latest purchase follows Verstappen’s investment in a 33-meter Mangusta GranSport 33 superyacht, valued at over $15 million. The yacht, commissioned two years ago, includes:
- Five staterooms for up to 12 guests
- Three crew cabins
- A spacious sundeck and beach club for water access
- Multiple luxury lounging areas
Verstappen and his partner, Kelly Piquet, were recently seen at the Overmarine shipyard in Italy inspecting the new vessel.
Financial Power Backing the Luxury
With a reported $75 million in earnings from the F1 2024 season, including $15 million in performance bonuses, Verstappen’s high-end purchases are well within his reach.
Despite his contract with Red Bull running until 2028, rumors persist about a potential $1 billion offer from Aston Martin to lure him away. However, both Aston Martin and Verstappen’s camp have dismissed these speculations, with a representative jokingly stating:
“It would be nice, but we haven’t received that offer yet.”
For now, Verstappen continues to dominate both on the track and in the world of luxury, with his latest jet and superyacht reinforcing his lavish lifestyle.
